🔋About Me
Yuhang Tian is a Software Engineer on the Customs Filing Team at Flexport.
He earned his joint bachelor’s degrees in Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University and Lancaster University in 2020. In 2022, he graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in Embedded Systems from the Cybersecurity group at TU Delft, Netherlands. His master’s thesis focused on developing a framework for confidential and privacy-preserving neural network training, addressing challenges posed by a malicious minority and enabling robust model training without centralized data storage.
From 2022 to 2023, Yuhang worked as a Security Researcher at NSFOCUS, contributing to the development of a privacy-preserving computing platform tailored for medical and educational applications.
From 2024 to 2026, he completed his Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Software Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), graduating cum laude in 2026. Conducted in collaboration with ASML, his doctorate project was titled Introducing Data Streaming System Interface for Twinscans. Following his graduation, he joined Flexport as a Software Engineer, focusing on customs filing software.
His technical interests span software engineering, privacy-preserving data sharing technologies, and machine learning.
